Frequently Asked Questions
What is Zorbing?
Zorbing is riding down a hill within a giant clear ball
What types of experiences are available?
Harness Zorbing
Max 2 riders climb into a ball and get attached to opposite sides of the ball using a harness system. As the ball is rolled down the hill, you travel with it, over and over again!
Hydro Zorbing
Max 2 riders climb into a ball. Water is added and the ball is rolled. You are not attached to anything, but will remain in the bottom of the ball as it rolls, and you will slip and slide around, a bit like a washing machine. Expect to get very wet!
Water Walking
1 rider gets into a single skinned ball which is inflated around them. It’s then onto the pool. Try to walk on water whilst remaining balanced. This is a difficult challenge for anyone, but is great for children.
Am I old enough?
Hydro Zorbonauts must be 7yrs old
Harness Zorbonauts must be 12yrs old
Parental consent is required for Zorbonauts under the age of 18.
Am I too old?
No. You’re never too old to have fun. However, every Zorbonaut requires a certain level of fitness to get in and out of the ball. (See our Terms and Conditions for further details)
Is there a weight restriction?
Yes. It is 18stone (115Kg) per person
How do I book?
To make a booking please see the Bookings Section
Can I just turn up on the day?
Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs however, priority will be given to those who have pre-booked a time slot and those who wish to have an additional ride(s) on the day.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes. Gift vouchers can be purchased online. You decide which experience you want, and we will send you the appropriate voucher which can be redeemed at any time. (Subject to Availability. Vouchers valid for 10 months from purchase date)
How long do I allow for my Zorbing experience?
Mobile Zorbing Wales endeavors to give all customers their Zorbing experience within their allocated time slot but please allow a waiting time of up to 2 hours during peak sessions.
*The actual ride time is approximately 1-2mins depending on the location and over a distance of 160-250m
